DOSAGE AND ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
Calves:
7500 - 15000 IU neomycin/kg of bodyweight (equivalent to 15-30 mg of medicinal product/kg of bodyweight), every 6-12 hours, for 3 to 5 consecutive days.
Pigs:
15000 IU neomycin/kg of bodyweight (equivalent 30 mg of medicinal product/kg of bodyweight), every 8-12 hours, for 3 to 5 consecutive days.
Poultry (broilers):
150000 IU neomycin/kg of bodyweight (equivalent 3 g of medicinal product per 10 litres of drinking water), every 8-12 hours, for 3 to 5 consecutive days.
Estimate the total amount of medication required according to the weight of the animals to be treated, dissolve in water and administer to animals directly.
To ensure a correct dosage, the body weight should be determined as accurately as possible to avoid underdosing.
